In compliance with Google Play Developer Policy, Dudu provides transparent control over your personal and financial data. You may delete your account and all associated records either directly within the mobile application or by submitting a web-based request.
Option 1: In-App Instant Account & Data Deletion (Recommended)
If you have the Dudu app installed on your device, you can instantly erase your account and all data without waiting:
- Open the Dudu app on your Android device.
- Go to Settings → Account & Data.
- Tap Delete Account & Data.
- Confirm the prompt. All local Room database records and synced Firebase Cloud backups will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Web / Email Data Deletion Request
If you no longer have access to the Dudu app or have uninstalled it, you can submit a manual erasure request:
Send an email to: axaydeveloper@gmail.com
- Subject line: Dudu Account and Data Deletion Request
- Required Info: The email address or Firebase Account ID associated with your Dudu account.
- Processing Time: Account and cloud data erasure requests are processed within 7 business days. Confirmation will be sent upon completion.
Types of Data Deleted
When an account deletion request is executed, the following associated data is permanently purged:
- Account credentials and user profile identifiers
- All recorded income, expense, and transaction logs
- Custom budget categories and limit configurations
- Lend & Borrow debt balances and contact logs
- All encrypted cloud backup snapshots stored on Firebase
Data Retention Policy
Once your account deletion is processed, no user data or financial records are retained on any servers. Local device database records are erased upon app uninstall or in-app reset.
