At Dudu, user privacy and data security are fundamental priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how data is collected, stored, and protected when you use the Dudu mobile application ("Service").
1. Information Storage & Local Encryption
Dudu operates as a privacy-focused financial tool. All transaction records, budget configurations, and lend-borrow logs are stored locally on your device in an encrypted Room database.
When Firebase Cloud Backup is enabled, your data is securely synchronized to your private Firebase account to facilitate data restoration across devices.
2. Notification Listener Permission
To enable automated transaction detection, Dudu may request optional Notification listener permission. This permission is processed entirely on-device to extract transaction amounts and vendor details from banking and UPI notification alerts.
No personal notification content or messages are transmitted, sold, or disclosed to external servers or third parties.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information. All data processing remains restricted to your local device or your designated Firebase account infrastructure.
4. User Control & Data Deletion
You maintain full ownership of all data stored in Dudu. You may delete individual records, clear local application data, or trigger complete cloud backup erasure at any time directly through the app settings.
